Which appointment should I book?

A new medical problem

A routine consultation. Mention the main issue when you book so the right length of appointment is allocated.

Several or complex problems

Ask for an extended appointment where available. Trying to address too many issues in one short consultation often means none are addressed well.

Mental health concerns

Choose a dedicated mental health or extended consultation where available — a short appointment is rarely enough.

Preventative health assessment

Choose an annual preventative review or health assessment. Expect to be in the clinic for 30 minutes or longer.

A skin problem

Choose a routine or dermatology-focused consultation where available. If you have a specific lesion, say so when booking.

A procedure

Call the clinic first if you're unsure whether the procedure you need is available on-site.
